We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and professional Server to join our restaurant team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional guest experiences, demonstrating strong food and beverage knowledge, and maintaining high standards of service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using Square POS system
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Maintaining cleanliness of the dining area
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, concerns, or special requests promptly and professionally
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments via POS register
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation procedures at all times
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Work well as a team assuring a pleasant dining experience
Qualifications
- Previous experience in full service restaurants preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and sales revenue
- Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Previous experience as a server, host/host is advantageous
- Ability to work weekends is a must
