Duties
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring all ingredients are handled safely and efficiently according to food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables promptly and resetting dining areas for new guests
- Handle manual lifting and heavy lifting safely when moving supplies or equipment around the kitchen and dining areas
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and timely manner, supporting the overall guest experience
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and payments with accuracy
- Follow safe lifting practices during all manual handling tasks to prevent injuries and ensure workplace safety
Qualifications
- Previous food service experience or restaurant background preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations
- Experience with food running, serving, or in-person customer service is highly desirable
- Ability to perform cleaning duties diligently and uphold hygiene standards
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests
- Capable of heavy lifting and manual handling while adhering to safe lifting practices
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude and a passion for hospitality
