Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and food items with attention to quality and presentation
- Operate Aloha POS and Micros POS systems accurately for order processing and cash handling
- Manage cash register transactions, including cash handling, credit card processing, and issuing receipts
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service to ensure a positive experience for all guests
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in accordance with health regulations
- Assist with food preparation and serving, ensuring timely delivery of orders
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers efficiently while maintaining quality standards
Requirements
- Previous barista experience or strong coffee knowledge preferred
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude
- Strong math skills for cash handling, retail math, and basic calculations
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
- Basic understanding of food industry standards and serving protocols
