Duties
- Prepare a variety of beverages including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and processing retail sales transactions efficiently using POS system.
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and process transactions smoothly while maintaining accurate cash handling records
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area by regularly cleaning equipment, counters, and dining spaces to ensure food safety standards are met
- Assist in food handling and food preparation tasks to support smooth service flow during busy shifts
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring each guest receives excellent drink service and overall customer satisfaction
- Manage time effectively during shifts to prioritize tasks, serve multiple customers efficiently, and uphold high standards of service quality
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience or café background is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is highly valued
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to handle fast-paced environments during all shifts
- Experience in food service or retail sales transactions is advantageous
- Capable of standing for extended periods, bending, lifting moderate weights, and maintaining energy throughout shifts

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
