The Senior Manager, Paid Search will be the primary architect of our Search marketing strategy. This leader will help build a program rooted in incrementality, omnichannel lift, and algorithmic efficiency. They will lead a team responsible for our Search, Shopping, PMAX and App campaigns, integrating MMM insights into tactical execution, and leading data-driven optimizations to drive business growth.
This is an on-site position (Monday through Thursday) based out of our Northbrook, IL office with the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays.

A day in the life as a Senior Manager, Paid Search...
- Lead Paid Search strategy across Google, Bing and Apple Ads including program mix, structure, feed and creative optimizations and signals for algorithmic bidding
- Oversee programs day to day including budgets, mix and a rigorous testing roadmap to ensure spend aligns with business goals
- Utilize advanced algorithms, automation and innovative tech integration to drive measurable omni impact and efficiencies in platform.
- Partner with Analytics lead to action off of MMM (Marketing Mix Modeling) and customer insights, driving the program toward incremental results
- Collaborate with internal teams including Brand, Performance and and Email Marketing, eCommerce, SEO/GEO, CRM, Analytics to drive total business outcomes
- Serve as the organization’s Search lead, educating stakeholders on channel opportunities while managing key vendor and agency relationships
- Own internal clarity and progress towards evolution to a best in class Search program by staying on top of emerging trends
- Lead and manage Search team within Performance Marketing, develop direct reports focusing on data driven, collaborative & customer-focused skillsets
- Deep expertise in Paid Search and Shopping, campaign and feed structure, feed optimization and advanced algorithmic bidding
- Knowledge of Google and Bing technical stacks and full campaign offering (Scripts, API led optimizations, Merchant Center) preferred; PMAX required
- Experience hands on keys in Google and Bing Ads Platforms and SA360; Adobe Analytics a bonus
- Advanced analytical and data visualization skills and a proven record of leveraging data to drive Omni business outcomes
- Data and performance driven mindset, passion for testing and proving value through ongoing optimizations
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Curiosity and willingness to partner with cross functional teams to understand our customer and business
- 8 years experience in SEM/Paid Search with 3 years in a Retail/eCommerce environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Economics, Statistics or Analytics focus preferred or equivalent work experience
- Deep expertise in feed optimization, advanced algorithmic bidding to omni and high value outcomes
- Advanced proficiency in Excel required
- Agency or Brand experience managing enterprise level Paid Search budgets, omni specialty retail preferred
- Retail experience preferred
Salary : $102,000 - $135,000
