Cranfill Sumner LLP is seeking a part‑time Office Services Assistant to support daily office operations in our Wilmington office. This position plays a key role in keeping the office running smoothly by providing administrative, logistical, and facilities support to attorneys and staff. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail‑oriented, service‑focused, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced legal environment.
Position Overview
The Office Services Assistant supports firm operations through mail handling, deliveries, document production, equipment and supply maintenance, and general office support. This role requires flexibility, strong time management, and the ability to shift priorities to meet firm and client needs. The position also involves regular interaction with attorneys, staff, courts, and external vendors, requiring professionalism and discretion at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick up, process, scan and distribute mail
- Assist with trial preparation, document production, scanning, copying, and file management
- Maintain kitchens, conference rooms, library, and office equipment
- Restock supplies and perform basic copier/printer maintenance
- Provide reception coverage, VTC set‑up, furniture moves, and other operational support
- Perform deliveries and filings at courthouses, agencies, and other law firms
- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation
- Valid North Carolina driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Proof of insurance required
