Position Summary

Summer Law Clerks will research and write on legal matters relevant to the firm. They will shadow attorneys in their practice with the intent of becoming fully engaged in the Cranfill Sumner LLP law firm experience.  Please indicate which office you are applying for in your cover letter.  Please note: Students from Campbell Law, NCCU School of Law, UNC Law, and Wake Forest School of Law should apply through their law school OCI program.

• Strong organizational and time management skills; attention to detail
• Ability to maintain confidential information
• Ability to complete tasks in a timely fashion; manage/meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently, or as part of a team, using initiative in all aspects of assignments

Expectations

• Temporary paid position requiring a 6-week commitment
• Regular attendance, 40 hours per week; consistently on time (unless pre-approved schedule changes)
• Accurate work product

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree
• Satisfactorily completed 1 or 2 years of study at accredited law school
• In good academic standing
