What You'll DoDesign and oversee a diverse calendar of recreational, educational, and social activities
Create programs that reflect each resident's interests, abilities, and goals
Organize special events, celebrations, community outings, and entertainment
Lead, mentor, and schedule the activities team while coordinating volunteers
Work collaboratively with nursing and interdisciplinary staff to promote resident well-being
Ensure department documentation and programming meet all applicable regulatory requirements
Jump in and actively participate in activities to create an engaging, welcoming atmosphere
Activities Director Certification (ADC) is preferred
Experience in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care setting is a plus
High school diploma or equivalent required
Outstanding organizational, communication, and leadership skills
A positive attitude and genuine passion for improving the lives of older adults
