We are seeking a skilled and motivated Shop Technician/Fitter/Welder to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate will be a Certified AWS Welder with experience in FCAW welding, and a strong background working in a fabrication floor environment.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Shop Technician/Fitter/Welder to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate will be a Certified AWS Welder with experience in FCAW welding, and a strong background working in a fabrication floor environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings for accurate fit-up and assembly
- Perform fit-up and weld-out of fabricated materials according to specifications
- Operate shop equipment including saws, iron workers, and other fabrication tools
- Stock and organize steel supplies and maintain an efficient workspace
- Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time
- AWS Welding Certification (FCAW required)
- Proven experience in a fabrication or welding shop environment
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and prints
- Familiarity with standard shop tools and machinery
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials
- Standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods
