ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Analyzes opportunities and offers to provide customer/client with the best solution.
- Maintains database with current activity and active service providers.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills, and excellent attention to detail.
- Strategic thinking skills with strong business analytic skills.
- Strong computer skills associated with the utilization of Excel.
- Skilled at PowerPoint, Access, and Project.
- Other software skills as needed such as Visio, Access, Outlook etc.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 3 years' experience in bid preparation/sales support.
- Industry experience a plus.
- Experience in ocean freight pricing required.
