What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Payroll Coordinator position at Crane Nuclear?
Principle Responsibilities:
- Assist with all internal and external HR-Payroll related inquiries or requests.
- Review payroll information for accuracy and ensure all relevant paperwork is in order.
- Collect and submit all federal and state tax documents for field employees in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
- Produce and submit payroll and HR reports.
- Assist with ad-hoc Payroll and HR projects.
- Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Experience:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively communicate with employees, management, and stakeholders at all levels
- Analytically driven with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to effectively address challenges and provide innovative solutions
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity
- Proficient in using MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business-related field preferred or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum of two years of relevant work experience in similar roles
