We are seeking a Beater Helper to support the beater room operations by ensuring a consistent flow of raw materials to the furnish and broke pulper conveyors—the first step in the papermaking process. Once trained, you will also gain additional skills to perform a variety of tasks across the manufacturing operation. This is an entry‑level, rotating‑shift position within our manufacturing line of progression.

We are seeking a Beater Helper to support the beater room operations by ensuring a consistent flow of raw materials to the furnish and broke pulper conveyors—the first step in the papermaking process. Once trained, you will also gain additional skills to perform a variety of tasks across the manufacturing operation. This is an entry‑level, rotating‑shift position within our manufacturing line of progression.
- Load correct stock onto conveyor belts.
- Enter stock information into the information systems and on written logs/records
- Clip bands/wires on baled broke or stock.
- Cleaning the tanks/chests.
- Prepare pulper for new batch of stock.
Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Industrial experience, helpful
- Basic mathematical skills
- Ability to learn basic computer programs; e mail, scanning, data entry
- Ability to pass Power Truck Certification, and safely operate power trucks
- Must be willing and able to work any shift arrangement and overtime as needed
