What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver Recruiter position at Crane Cartage?
Essential Job Functions
- Sources local over the road CDL owner operators and communicates the benefits of driving with Crane Freight at the assigned location.
- Facilitates the transition of drivers into the Crane organization at the local station.
- Consistently achieve and exceed the assigned station recruiting goals.
- Manage and reduce the cost per hire associated with driver recruiting and processing.
- Work as a team with other support staff to provide day to day solutions.
- Other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements
- Job may require extended sitting or standing, use of standard office equipment.
- Talking, hearing, and using hands to operate computer equipment. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
- May require travel to client and site locations to support implementation activities, including on-site presence during go-live periods.
- Job will require presence at the assigned work location.

Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED/Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum 1 to 3 years’ driver recruiting experience
