Essential Job Functions
- Ensure execution of daily operations within the department.
- Review & audit drivers logs and inspections.
- Work closely with Safety & Compliance.
- Accountable for production, supervision and discipline of employees.
- Monitor and evaluate employees based on goals and standards.
- Enforce policy and procedure compliance.
- Coordinate with other departments within the company.
- Respond to & solve problems.
- Train employees on job specific duties.
- Make suggestions and show initiative for process improvements.
- Effectively communicate with drivers, clients, vendors and employees.
- Assist Operations Manager with planning and budget process.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Problem solving- identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
- Client Service- manages difficult client situations, responds promptly to client needs and welcome client feedback.
- Quality management-look for ways to improve and promote quality and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
Physical Requirements
- Talking, hearing and using hands to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and other computer components.
- Sitting for extended periods of time.
- Walking within the warehouse and inspecting freight.
- Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
- Job will require presence on-site at the assigned work location.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED Required.
- Four years industry experience required.
- Two years supervisory required.
