Job Summary
The Quality Inspector will identify problems with workmanship or process damage. Ensure the quality of produced assemblies by physical and visual inspection to verify characteristic against predetermined specifications, drawings or standards.
Essential Functions
- Works from blueprints, customer drawings, engineering change notices, military standards, and established operating procedures to determine acceptance, rejection or rework requirements of assembled units or supplier components
- Conducts visual inspections with high level of accuracy to verify physical properties
- Ensures the build and test manufacturing process has been completed
- Proactively communicates errors and systemic trends to the quality organization
- Enters data into software tools
- Any other task assigned by your supervisor or management
- Experience: 3-5 years' experience as a Quality Inspector or Operator in an electronics manufacturing environment required
- Knowledge: Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Skills/Abilities: Effective verbal and written communication skills; Competence to perform inspections using calipers, thread gages, scales, micro-hite; General PC skills, including Word, Excel and Oracle; Ability to interpret drawings and part specifications; Accurate color vision and depth perception; Vision corrected to 20/20; Ability to work in a team oriented environment, including interfacing with Order Management, Internal Quality Engineers, Customers and other Internal Management personnel
- Education/Certification: High School diploma or equivalent required.

Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with AS9100 standards
- Familiar with AS9102 First Article Requirements
- Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment
- Manufacturing operations may require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety glasses, gowning, masks, hearing protectors, heel/wrist straps and any other required PPE
- May be exposed to unusual environmental conditions such as loud noises, cold temperatures, confined spaces, dust or fumes
- Involves handling parts in compliance with Electrostatic Discharge Devices (ESD procedures)
