Crandell's Enterprises Inc. (CEI) provides high-quality residential mental health services across North Carolina. We are seeking a dedicated Qualified Professional (QP) to support our staff and clients in Pitt County while ensuring exceptional care and regulatory compliance.

The Qualified Professional (QP) oversees client care and provides leadership to direct support staff in our residential programs. This role ensures service quality, supports client progress, and maintains compliance with state and agency requirements. This role involves assessment, treatment planning, monitoring service delivery, and collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to support client wellness and recovery. This role reports to the Project Manager.

Schedule: Full-Time, On-site. Some travel may be required. Evening or weekend hours may be necessary depending on client needs.

Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods. May need to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally. Able to respond to crisis and urgent client needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to determine service needs and eligibility.
  • Supervise and support House Managers, Companion Aides, and Peer Support Specialists.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor personcentered treatment plans.
  • Provide clinical oversight for service delivery in accordance with state and agency guidelines.
  • Monitor client progress, document services, and update treatment plans as needed.
  • Participate in clinical team meetings, staff training, and case consultations.
  • Ensure compliance with state regulatory standards and payer requirements, such as Medicaid.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in client records.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities and audits.
  • Coordinate services and communicate with families, guardians, providers, and community resources.
  • Support clients with advocacy, skill development, and resource navigation.
  • Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards and agency policies.
  • Ensure accurate documentation, staff notes, and required reporting.
  • Schedule staff work shifts and always ensure adequate coverage at homes. Fill in for staff when necessary and ensure flexibility during staff shortages.
  • Address employee behavior or performance issues promptly and report them to your immediate supervisor, providing accurate documentation and suggestions for resolution.
  • Coordinate training for new hires, including training on company policies, CPR/Aide certification, NCI (Nonviolent Crisis Intervention), and medication administration. Ensure all training is completed within the required time for all new hires.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Nursing, or a related human services field (degree type must meet state QP requirements).
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervised experience in mental health services (experience requirement may vary by state).
  • Licensure or certification preferred (LCSWA, LPCA, etc., based on state regulations).
  • Knowledge of mental health diagnoses, treatment interventions, and community resources.
  • Experience working with individuals with mental health or cooccurring disorders.
