Job Title: Office Chair Technician and General Warehouse
Location: Greenville, MI
Hours: Full Time – 4x 10 Hour Days – Mon-Thurs

About Crandall Office Furniture:

Crandall Office Furniture was founded in 2002, and since then has grown to become the largest remanufacturer of office seating in the country. We are located in Greenville, Michigan, in a 50,000 square foot manufacturing facility where we remanufacture and send out in excess of 15,000 chairs every year. Our primary business is remanufacturing office chairs (primarily Steelcase, Herman Miller, and Haworth) and selling office chair parts. All of our remanufactured chairs leave our facility with new casters, new gas cylinder, new arm pads, new fabric, and a 12 year warranty (the same as a new chair).

We currently have 25 full time employees and are in a growth phase of our organization.

About This Job:

This position will report directly to the General Manager. They will primarily work with both the production and warehouse teams.

We are looking for someone to help in our chair production department with day to day tasks. This person will be responsible for a diverse and variable range of hands-on mechanical activities. Responsibilities include disassembling and reassembling office chairs, rebuilding chair components, cleaning office chairs, removing staples and general warehouse duties as assigned.

This will be a very fluid job, where no two days will be the same. Flexibility, quick learning, and a can-do attitude are essential to the success of this team member. Looking for a long-term team member with opportunity for increased responsibility & advancement.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Disassembling and rebuilding office chairs
• Read and understand production work orders and related instructions
• Examine finished products to verify they meet our high quality standards
• Inspect production products (upholstery, chair functions, etc.) for quality
• General Warehouse Duties
• Other duties as assigned

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
