Responsibilities
- Cut, trim, and package meat products according to specifications and customer requests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, adhering to food safety standards.
- Operate various meat cutting tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their meat selections and answering any questions they may have.
- Monitor inventory levels of meat products and communicate needs to management.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations in the meat department.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in meat cutting or food preparation is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate!
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling techniques.
- Proficient in using knives and other cutting tools safely.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all tasks.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
