Cranberry Township is currently accepting applications for a part-time Sports Specialist in the Parks and Recreation Department. The Sports Specialist primary responsibilities are to supervise Sports Program games and activities, and to monitor facility and league schedules. Responsibilities may also include providing oversight of some part-time, seasonal and volunteer staff, including score keepers, officials, and coaches. This position may also be officiating games, coaching, or any other game related operational duties as needed. This position requires a flexible schedule and must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Candidate must have high school diploma or GED and valid driver's license. One year of experience coordinating special events required, with two years preferred. Flexible work schedules and competitive wages, beginning at $13/hour. Applicants must obtain background clearances required under the Pennsylvania Child Protective Services Law upon hire.
