Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service from seating to departure
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods
- Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Serve food and beverages with professionalism, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards
- Assist with food handling, sanitation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
- Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly and resolving any concerns with a positive attitude
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms is highly desirable
- Experience with cocktail preparation, wine knowledge, spirits service, and beverage presentation is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Experience working in fine dining or nightclub environments is advantageous but not required
