Duties and Responsibilities:
This position is physically demanding, requiring extended periods of standing and walking. School Security Officers will be expected to perform duties such as:
- Patrolling the school campus and surrounding areas, including unsupervised zones.
- Intervening in situations that may result in injury and encouraging students to avoid unsafe behavior.
- Serving as a role model for students in terms of behavior, attire, and professional grooming.
- Supervising the arrival and dismissal of students, as well as during breakfast, lunch, and recess periods.
- Assisting students in getting to class on time and ensuring smooth traffic flow in hallways.
- Monitoring visitors, verifying identification, and escorting unauthorized individuals to exits.
- Alerting school personnel to any emergencies or unusual situations.
Salary : $12
