Math SAT/ACT Test Prep Tutor (Part-Time)

We are Cram Crew, an in-home academic tutoring firm, that provides one-on-one support to middle and high school students. We're currently looking for tutors who can assist our growing number of SAT and ACT students in Houston and the surrounding areas.

As a Math Tutor, you will prepare students for the Math and Science sections of the ACT and the Math sections of the SAT. There are opportunities to grow within Cram Crew by expanding your services to help students with other standardized tests and upper-level academic subjects, such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Calculus, and all Algebras.

This is a part-time position that provides limited hours upon onboarding, but allows you to build up your workload.

What you should offer:

• A passion for education
• A reliable car and a willingness to commute to students’ homes
• A minimum commitment of 10 tutoring hours a week
• A minimum of 60 college credit hours
• Strong communication skills
• Weeknight and weekend availability
• A professional and positive attitude

What you should be able to do:

• Correctly answer content-specific questions
• Complete a comprehensive training
• Multitask and prioritize independent work
• Track and analyze student progress
• Communicate effectively and provide outstanding customer service
