Craig Industries, Inc., a growing manufacturer in the building materials industry, is seeking dependable and hardworking Manufacturing Associates for Assembly and Fabrication.
This position reports to the assigned Department Supervisor. Manufacturing Associates may be placed in various departments including, but not limited to, Set-Up, Doors, Finish, Foam, Glue, and Metal. Department placement will be determined by the Plant Supervisor based on skills, qualifications, and experience.
The primary responsibility of this role is to assist in the assembly and fabrication of insulated panels for walk-in coolers, freezers, and other structures. Each department is responsible for completing assigned tasks accurately and efficiently while maintaining safety and quality standards. Some departments require operation of heavy machinery.
This position requires adherence to all specified safety procedures and attendance policies.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in assembly and fabrication of insulated panels
- Perform department-specific production tasks accurately and efficiently
- Operate hand tools and machinery as assigned
- Handle materials and finished products safely
- Follow detailed work instructions and supervisor direction
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Comply with all safety standards and company policies
- Support team members to meet daily production goals
Qualifications
- Ability to read and use a tape measure
- Basic computer skills (mouse, tablet, general software use)
- Ability to follow directions and work effectively in a team environment
- Experience reading blueprints helpful but not required
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Basic tool experience including hex wrenches, circular saws, drills, jigsaws, Dremels, staple guns, miter saws, and hot glue guns

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to squat, kneel, bend, twist, and reach
- Ability to push or pull wheeled carts up to 250 lbs
- Ability to use fine motor skills and hand tools regularly

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, first shift, in-person
Compensation & Benefits: Hourly base pay plus health, dental, vision, 401(k), and additional benefits
