## About Spadeberry
Spadeberry is a profitable software company that helps eBay resellers create and publish better listings faster. Our customers upload photos of items they're selling; our AI generates titles, descriptions, item specifics, and pricing suggestions that turn those photos into ready-to-publish eBay listings. We handle the boring parts of reselling so our users can focus on sourcing and shipping.
We're a small team serving thousands of active eBay sellers, and we're building our social presence from the ground up. Our audience — eBay resellers, thrift flippers, estate-sale pickers — is one of the most passionate communities on the internet. They watch YouTube, scroll TikTok for sourcing tips, and talk in Facebook groups constantly. We want to be part of that conversation, and we want someone who actually understands it.

## What you'll do
This is a solo role — you're the entire social media operation. You plan it, create it, schedule it, and own the results.
**Day to day:**
- **Run all Spadeberry social platforms.** Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram — you own the accounts, the calendar, and the output.
- **Build and execute a content calendar.** You know what's going out next week, not because someone told you, but because you planned it.
- **Brief and direct content creation.** We're also hiring a Video Creator/Editor who will handle filming and editing. You'll work with them to brief video content: what we need, why, what it should accomplish. On non-video content, you produce it yourself.
- **Manage Andrew's on-camera presence.** The CEO will be a recurring face on our social channels. You'll develop his voice and content direction, decide when he shows up and what he talks about, and help him come across as the real, knowledgeable founder he is.
- **Engage with the community.** Reply to comments, participate in Facebook groups where our customers hang out, surface themes and conversations to the team.
- **Track what's working.** Platform analytics, growth numbers, what content performs — you watch it and adjust.
---
## What you'll bring
**Required:**
- **A portfolio of brand or business accounts you've managed professionally.** Not your personal Instagram. Real accounts for an employer, client, or organization. Apply without one and we can't review you.
- **Real platform results — with numbers.** Growth you can cite. Engagement you can point to. Campaigns that did something measurable. "I grew the account" without specifics doesn't cut it.
- **A real content planning process.** You have a system — a calendar, a workflow, a way of going from idea to published. "I post when I feel like it" isn't a process.
- **Experience as the primary owner of a social presence.** You've been the person responsible — not one of ten people on an agency team. You made the calls.
- **Small business or startup experience.** Running social for a founder-led company is different from running it for a brand with a 12-person marketing team. You know how to operate scrappy, with limited assets and high creative ownership.
- Willingness to be in-office in Webb City, MO (near Joplin) full-time. No relocation support is provided.
**Nice-to-have:**
- **Personal or professional experience with eBay, Poshmark, Mercari, thrifting, or online reselling.** If you've been in the reseller world — buying, selling, flipping, sourcing — you already speak our audience's language. This is a significant edge and we weight it heavily.
- Experience in the reselling or e-commerce community on social (TikTok resellers, YouTube flipping channels, Facebook sourcing groups)
- Familiarity with AI content tools (scheduling, caption generation, image creation)
- Light video editing skills for short-form clips
- Experience with e-commerce, SaaS, or software product content
**We don't care about:**
- Follower count on your personal accounts
- Experience at big-name agencies — a strong small-brand track record is worth more
---
## What the work environment looks like
- In-office at our Webb City, MO headquarters (in the Joplin area)
- Direct access to the founder — no approval chains, no committees. If you have a good idea, you pitch it and we move.
- Real creative ownership. We'll give you direction on brand voice and priorities; within that, you own the strategy.
- You'll work alongside our incoming Video Creator/Editor — a collaborative content operation
- $50,000–$58,000 base salary based on experience 2 weeks PTO paid federal holidays
