Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, taking their orders with accuracy and enthusiasm to foster a welcoming atmosphere.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions swiftly and accurately.
- Manage food service customer orders, ensuring timely preparation and delivery while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
- Upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
- Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation standards, including bussing tables, cleaning counters, and organizing kitchen equipment.
- Handle cash register operations with precision, processing cash, credit card payments, and processing cash transactions efficiently.
- Assist in operating kitchen equipment when needed, supporting food preparation and ensuring adherence to food safety management practices.
Requirements
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred; familiarity with food handling and customer service roles is essential.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; basic math skills for cash handling are required.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking between cashier duties and food service responsibilities.
- Experience with food preparation, serving, bussing, sanitation, and operating kitchen equipment is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly attitude that prioritizes customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe dining experience for all guests.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a lively restaurant setting.
