What are the responsibilities and job description for the Carpenter - Commercial Projects position at Craftsmen Resources?
Seeking an apprentice or experienced carpenter with 1-3 years of experience. Commercial Work! Travel Expected!
About This Position:
As a carpenter for Craftsmen Resources, you will be involved in multiple construction projects including residential, commercial, and industrial work. Our average work week is Monday – Friday, 07:00-3:30p, although certain projects may require overtime or a variable schedule. As a carpenter, you may be tasked with the following:
Install custom cabinetry to project specifications.
Install toilet partitions, lockers, signage, fire extinguisher cabinets, and wall protection.
Install doors and hardware, and architectural fixtures/finishes depending on specific job-site requirements. Install wall protection products like Rigid Sheet Vinyl.
Experience using various levels, hammers, power drills, circular saws, and miter saw is required.
You may receive other responsibilities from your site supervisor.
Be a safety champion and return home safely each day.

TRAVEL expected multiple days a week - lodging and per diem provided
Pay is DOE $17 - $22 / hour
Job Requirements:
Must have 1-5 years of rough, trim carpentry, or cabinetry experience.
Must be able to lift heavy objects up to 40 pounds, and push and pull objects as required.
Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, crouch, crawl, kneel, and reach.
Work at least 40 hours per week, and overtime as required.
Ability to work well with others.
