Warehouse Laborers

Craftsmen Contractors is looking to hire Warehouse Laborers to assist at a large warehouse facility in the New Orleans - Desire area. You will be transferring rice bags weighing between 80 and 90 pounds from a conveyor belt, placing them on a pallet, and then paper-banding the loaded pallet for distribution. The work schedule consists of working day shifts Monday through Friday (7:30 AM - 4:30 PM).

These are temp-to-permanent positions for the right candidates. It all depends on your work performance and attendance. Must pass a criminal background check - no felonies are allowed.

Starting pay is $15/hour.

Pay is weekly by direct deposit.

Job Requirements:

• Warehouse experience and having a current TWIC card is preferred.
• Will need to pass a criminal background check for this position. No felonies allowed.
• Be able to lift at least 80 to 90 pounds and have good physical stamina - will be standing for lengthy periods of time.
• Work effectively with others to achieve warehouse goals.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and other warehouse staff.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
