Duties
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand our roofing services within assigned territories.
- Identify and generate new leads through cold calling, networking, and marketing initiatives.
- Conduct product demos and presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the value of our roofing solutions.
- Manage existing accounts while cultivating new business opportunities through effective account management techniques.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals with clients, ensuring mutual satisfaction and long-term relationships.
- Utilize CRM software such as to track sales activities, manage customer data, and analyze sales performance.
- Collaborate with management on territory management strategies and marketing efforts to maximize market penetration.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Upsell additional products or services to existing clients to increase revenue opportunities.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of industry trends, competitors, and product offerings to stay ahead in the market.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or technical sales within the construction or roofing industry preferred.
- Strong management skills with the ability to handle territory management and lead generation effectively.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer service skills.
- Familiarity with CRM software for managing client relationships and tracking sales activities.
- Demonstrated ability in business development, account management, and direct sales strategies.
- Ability to perform product demos and conduct effective presentations tailored to client needs.
- Strong analysis skills for evaluating market data and developing targeted sales approaches.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to cold calling, inside sales, retail sales, and upselling opportunities.
