Duties
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using SQL, Python, R, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to support business initiatives.
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and visualizations utilizing Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and other BI tools to communicate insights effectively.
- Collaborate within Agile project management frameworks to deliver timely analytics solutions aligned with project milestones.
- Engage in database design and management using Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and other database systems to ensure optimized data storage and retrieval.
- Conduct comprehensive business analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvements.
- Support the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) by participating in requirements gathering, testing, deployment, and documentation of analytics projects.
- Develop automated reports using VBA macros or Bash scripts on Unix systems to streamline routine data tasks.
- Work with Linked Data concepts and integrate disparate data sources for more comprehensive analysis.
- Utilize Visio for process modeling and documentation of workflows related to data processes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in data analysis with strong proficiency in SQL programming and database management.
- Hands-on experience with Tableau, Power BI, Looker or similar visualization tools.
- Knowledge of ETL tools such as Talend or similar platforms for data integration tasks.
- Familiarity with programming languages including Python and R for statistical analysis and automation.
- Understanding of SDLC principles and Agile methodologies for project management.
- Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle databases, or equivalent systems.
- Strong business analysis skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Knowledge of database design principles and best practices for data integrity and security.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams while managing multiple projects efficiently.
