Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Trimmer to join our team. This role involves trimming, assembling, and preparing products for final inspection, requiring attention to detail and mechanical knowledge.
Starting pay depends on experience. This is production based.
Essential duties and responsibilities
- Safely maneuver furniture frames on work platform (rails)
- Tacks cardboard, padding and upholstery material to top, side, and bottom rails of outside arms, fitting and shaping materials to obtain specified contour using staple gun, staple puller, scissors, and regulator
- Responsible for fixing their own repairs
- Maintains neat and orderly workstation.
- Follow all workplace safety standards to include safety glasses.
- Performs other duties as required by supervisor.
Qualification requirements
- Demonstrate use of upholstery tools
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently or as a team member
- Ability to read work instructions
Physical demands and abilities
- Prolonged standing/walking/bending required and lifting up to 80 pounds
- Regularly use hands and fingers to handle, control or feel objects.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
