This is an opportunity for a plumbing-led engineer to take ownership of projects, lead scopes confidently, and contribute meaningfully to a high-performing engineering team.Role OverviewAs a Senior Plumbing Engineer / Project Manager, you will lead plumbing design efforts from concept through construction while collaborating closely with mechanical and electrical disciplines.You will serve as: The technical authority for plumbing systemsA client-facing project leaderA mentor to junior designersA key contributor to QA/QC and process improvementThis role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing hands-on design execution with leadership and coordination responsibilities.What You'll Be DoingPlumbing Design Leadership - Lead the design and technical execution of domestic water, sanitary, storm, gas, and specialty plumbing systems from concept through construction.Project Management - Manage plumbing scopes across all project phases while coordinating closely with mechanical, electrical, architectural, and client teams to ensure aligned, on-time delivery.Documentation & Support - Oversee the preparation of coordinated construction documents and provide construction administration support to ensure code compliance and buildability.Team Development & QC - Mentor junior staff and contribute to internal QA/QC processes to maintain high technical standards and continuous improvement.Required BackgroundBachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.Minimum 57 years of plumbing design experience within an MEP consulting environment.Certified Plumbing Designer (CPD) license required or in progress.Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit for MEP design.Experience producing fully coordinated construction documents.Demonstrated project management experience with client-facing responsibility.Strong communication, organization, and cross-discipline collaboration skills.Professional Engineer (PE) license or active path toward licensure required.Take Ownership of Your Next Project!If you're a plumbing-focused MEP engineer ready to lead coordinated, high-quality designs while working alongside a collaborative and technically strong team, we'd love to connect.
