Kitchen Cabinet Designer

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Kitchen Cabinet Designer to join our innovative design team. Duties

• Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and lifestyle requirements for kitchen cabinetry and related interior elements.
• Develop detailed 3D models and visualizations of kitchen designs using 20-20
• Create precise technical drawings and drafting plans utilizing AutoCAD, CAD software, Bluebeam, and Revit to ensure accurate manufacturing and installation.
• Incorporate color theory principles and lighting design insights to enhance aesthetic appeal and functionality within each space.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and project managers to ensure seamless execution of design specifications throughout the renovation or remodeling process.
• Prepare detailed project proposals including budgets, timelines, and material selections while managing multiple projects simultaneously through effective project management skills.
• Assist in selecting finishes, hardware, lighting fixtures, and other elements that complement the overall interior design vision.
• Review construction documents for accuracy and compliance with contracts and building codes; oversee revisions as needed.
• Stay current on industry trends in cabinetry, interior design, lighting sales, remodeling techniques, and sustainable materials to continually bring fresh ideas to projects.
• Support sales efforts by presenting design concepts confidently to clients and assisting in contract negotiations when necessary.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in kitchen cabinet or interior design with a strong portfolio showcasing cabinetry projects.
• Proficiency in 20/20 is essential.
• Solid understanding of drafting standards, construction processes, and building codes related to renovation projects.
• Knowledge of color theory, lighting design principles, and interior aesthetics to create harmonious spaces.
• Experience with project management tools and techniques for coordinating timelines and budgets effectively.
• Familiarity with contracts law as it pertains to construction projects is a plus.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with clients, vendors, contractors, and team members.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and translate client needs into actionable plans.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,692.43 per hour
