Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Host to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this dynamic role, you will be the welcoming face of our establishment, creating memorable first impressions for guests while efficiently managing seating, and guest flow. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure a seamless dining experience that leaves guests eager to return. Whether greeting guests at the door or taking orders at the table, your positive attitude and hospitality skills will be vital to our success.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing excellent customer service from the moment they walk in. Our goal is to create a sense of belonging.
- Take food and beverage orders table side, ensuring accurate communication and timely delivery.
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests
- Handle cash transactions accurately through Toast POS systems, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
Requirements
- Previous experience as a host/hostess or server in a restaurant or food service environment preferred
- Knowledge of craft cocktails or willingness to learn about craft cocktails is a preferred
- Weekend availability is a must
- Familiarity with Toast POS systems a plus, but not required
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking efficiently
- Knowledge of food industry standards including food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling tasks
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude to foster guest satisfaction and collaboration

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
