Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, glassware, and cooking equipment to maintain high hygiene standards.
- Assist with bussing tables by clearing dishes, glassware, and utensils promptly after guests finish their meals.
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas by sweeping, mopping, and taking out trash as needed.
- Support food preparation tasks if needed as directed by the kitchen staff, including peeling vegetables and preparing ingredients for cooking.
- Ensure that all kitchen supplies are stocked and organized for efficient workflow.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with, banquet service or catering is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of food handling and kitchen operations is advantageous.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.
Days: Monday-Thrusday closed Friday Saturday Sunday
Hours: 7am-3pm
