Position: Catering Sales Coordinator @ State Farm Stadium - Full Time/Non-Exempt
Reports to: Director of Premium
Background:
Craft Culinary Concepts is a food and beverage company, affiliated with the Arizona Cardinals, that brings top-tier service and management to leading stadiums, sports venues, cultural attractions, and music venues across the nation. State Farm Stadium is host to the home games and Training Camp for the Arizona Cardinals. In addition, this property hosts many high-profile events, including the Fiesta Bowl, Super Bowls, Concerts, and many other world-class events.
Job Summary:
The Catering Sales Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the Director of Premium with the catering department.
Primary Job Duties:
- Completes projects in a timely and professional manner.
- Provides clerical support including creating, updating and closing event orders.
- Ensures that appropriate Catering Sales materials are always available, including specialty signage, drink tickets, menu cards
- Main POC for catering events as assigned, focusing on ASM events.
- Attend walkthroughs and participate in planning calls for assigned events.
- Assist event clients with menu and service planning.
- Send out Event Orders- external and internally.
- Point of contact on assigned catering event days.
- Manages multiple projects concurrently.
- Provides assistance and supervision of catering department to ensure all catering services exceed guest expectations.
- Manages the distribution of inquiries efficiently.
- Fosters strong relationships with ASM Group Sales Managers and Operations.
- Processes invoices on a timely basis.
- Promotes a positive work environment, maximizing productivity and morale.
- Communicates all group sales booking regularly and efficiently.
- Enter consumption post-event and send final Event Order to the Director of Premium prior to the client.
- Supervisory catering duties as assigned for Cardinals games and other events.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Effective communication skills across a diverse population of employees, clients, partners, etc.
- Ability to multi-task and troubleshoot in a high stress, fast-paced, live production work environment.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have a valid TEAM or TIP certification card and a valid County Food Handler Card on file with Craft Culinary Concepts
- Must have a H.S Diploma or equivalent.
- Flexibility and positive attitude a must.
- Must complete all pre-employment forms, and successfully pass a background check.
- Must be able to work with a group as well as independently.
- Preferred prior experience as Catering Sales, Catering Operations, and administrative knowledge.
- Preferred bartending experience.
- Experience in sports and entertainment industry a plus.
