Recruiter

Craft and Technical Solutions is an established Marine and Industrial Staffing Company with offices nationwide. We are seeking a Recruiter in Newport News, VA, with a deep understanding of the maritime industry.

Description:

• Source and recruit candidates using our applicant tracking systems, social media, job boards, and job fairs.
• Process all recruitment requests in an effective and efficient manner.
• Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Inform candidates of details such as duties and responsibilities, benefits, schedules, working conditions, or advancement opportunities.
• Screen candidates to ensure high-quality submittals.
• Maintain good notes of conversations with candidates.
• Assess applicant knowledge and skills.
• Attend regularly scheduled conference calls.
• Meet weekly recruiter metrics.
• Present a good representation of self to candidates and customers.

Requirements:

• 3 years of maritime or industrial recruiting experience required.
• Must be highly organized, reliable, motivated, and a team player.
• Proficient with MS office (Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must be able to be productive while working independently and as part of a group.
• Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
• Experience in a cold-calling environment preferred.
• Ability to speak English and Spanish preferred.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
