Food Service Supervisor
Job Summary:
Our company is looking for a highly motivated experienced food supervisor manager with exceptional people skills. This position oversees a large area in northern Mississippi. This position reports to the Director of Food Operations. Food Managers report directly to the Food Service Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
- Manage food sales in your district
- Recruit, hire, train, and mentor the food management staff for the assigned district
- Work with vendors, store managers, and food managers to ensure food sites are clean and properly stocked with items to sale
- Follow all planograms associated with each particular stores deli hot box cases and hot and cold grab n go cases
- Increase monthly sales
- Follow all BlueSky processes (build to sheets, recipes, schedules
- 5 day work week, weekends possible
- Work with store manager and food manager to ensure food safety is a priority, and food sales are maximized through proper food preparation and presentation to meet customer demands
- Maintain a high level of customer service
- Control expenses maintaining monthly food inventories at each store.
- Serve as a key player in food waste, internal theft, and labor control
- Assume responsibility for special assignments and projects as needed
- Be available to store personnel as needed to provide guidance and answer questions
Qualifications:
- 3 years or more of food service experience required
- Requires great communications skills
- Requires the ability to recruit, interview, and hire quality individuals
- Coaches the food managers to a high level or performance
- Must have a clean driving record
