This individual will be responsible for the effective development of Cracker Barrel Field Managers with a primary focus of improving performance in Sales, Food and Labor. Cofacilitate the Manager Development Program (MIT) for all newly promoted field leaders and external hires. Follows up and coaches MIT participants during and after the program. Collaborates with a variety of internal stakeholders for the purpose of developing and implementing new Company processes and systems. Provides feedback to content development group and identifies skill gaps that need to be addressed in existing programs.

Responsibility

Sustainment• Works in collaboration with other departments to support delivery and sustainment ofthe MIT training program. Completes all MIT follow up throughout training. Partnerswith training stores to ensure MIT experience and performance.• Collaborate with Field Human Resources and other regional support teams to identifyopportunities for performance improvement.• Communicate and coordinates interventions to help improve store improvement• Conducts store audits to ensure consistent operational standards.

 

Facilitation• Operational Initiatives and System Training support.• Clearly and concisely conveys written information orally or in writing to individuals orgroups to ensure that they understand the information and the message.• Facilitating groups in a classroom setting; communicating with diverse groups and individuals.

• Facilitates hands on culinary training within the kitchen environment.• Ensures the content delivery aligns with operational focus and strategy.• Prepares classrooms / kitchen facilities for all training sessions.• Maintain training kitchen operations, sanitation, equipment and food ordering processes.

 

Field Support• Works with Home Office Performance Coach Manager and Internal Stakeholders toeffectively assist in MIT training development and company initiatives.• Monitor the MIT training program execution in the training stores and assigned stores.• Perform training needs assessment for gaps in performance and develops solutionsthat align with business objectives.• Support the creation and development of training programs and analyze the results oftheir efforts with specific business metrics

 

Admin, Personal Development• Ensures Travel expenses are aligned with Company policy and submits in a timelymanner.• Documents, and communicates store visit summaries and MIT participant summaries• Cross training with Field Performance Coaches on all platforms and programs.• Stays abreast of current facilitation and coaching techniques and best practices• Mentors new team members and assists Field Performance Coaches as needed• Maintains certifications and recertifies prior to expiration

Qualifications

Experience and Education• Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination ofeducation and experience• Preferred experience in the service industry

 

Certifications• Serve safe proctor• Performance Coach Certification

Environment and Working Conditions

• Must be able to travel to stores - Spend up to 15% of their time in the Field, 85% supporting HO training sessions (facilitation and administration)
