School Photography Assistant (Seasonal, Part-Time)
We are seeking energetic and reliable individuals to join our team as Photography Assistants for the upcoming Fall 2026 season.
In this role, you will support a professional photographer during school portrait sessions, sports portraits, and special events such as prom and graduation. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with posing subjects, keeping sessions running efficiently, and recording frame numbers for each student.
You’ll also play an important role in managing groups of students, so confidence in speaking up and giving clear direction is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist photographer with posing individuals and groups
- Help maintain an efficient workflow during photo sessions
- Record frame numbers accurately for each subject
- Communicate clearly and confidently with students and staff
- Support setup before the school day and breakdown after sessions
Qualifications:
- Energetic, dependable, and professional demeanor
- Comfortable working with children and large groups
- Strong communication skills and ability to take initiative
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Must pass criminal and motor vehicle background checks
Position Details:
- Seasonal, part-time (Fall season beginning in August)
- Workdays typically start early morning and end mid-morning or mid-afternoon
- Paid training provided after July 4th
- Opportunity for continued seasonal work
