Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. You will manage reservations, greet guests, and coordinate seating arrangements while maintaining a smooth flow of service.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, handling inquiries and reservations efficiently.
- Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring satisfaction.
- Uphold high standards of guest relations and hospitality throughout the dining experience.
Skills
- Previous Host/Host experience is preferred, with a strong background in food service or restaurant environments.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
- Experience in hotel settings or guest services is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of serving etiquette and hospitality best practices.
