POSITION SUMMARY:

The Minor League Outfield and Baserunning Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining organizational principles for outfield play and baserunning across the minor league system. This role works closely with the front office, coordinators, and staff to align a shared developmental vision while providing players and coaches with consistent resources, data, and performance plans.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop, implement, and maintain organizational outfield and baserunning principles across the minor league system.
• Collaborate closely with the front office, coordinators, and affiliate staff members to align on a shared player development vision.
• Provide players and affiliate staff members with consistent resources, data, and teaching materials.
• Coordinate and support individualized player performance plans within the outfield and baserunning areas.
• Lead and support the development of affiliate-level coaching staffs.
• Establish and uphold organizational standards, expectations, and terminology to ensure continuity throughout the system.
• Promote a culture of accountability, professionalism, and winning at all affiliate levels.
• Demonstrate strong leadership through thoughtful decision-making, creativity, and effective problem-solving.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with players, coaches, coordinators, and front office personnel.
• Proactively identify challenges throughout the season and develop creative, practical solutions.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience working and playing professional baseball preferred.
• Extremely motivated, with a strong work ethic and problem-solving skills, with the desire to learn and grow.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication.
• Detail-oriented, strong organization skills, and multi-tasking abilities.
• Passion for the game of baseball.
• Ability to work well with co-workers and supervisors in a team environment to accomplish common goals.
• Experience with and a working understanding of current baseball technologies, programs, and evaluative tools.
• Ability to develop and maintain successful working relationships with members of the Club’s front office, on-field staff, and players.
• Consistent, punctual, and regular attendance, while presenting a professional image and demeanor.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

WORK SCHEDULE:

• Roving coordinator position is remote, with regular travel required to Minor League affiliates, player development camps, and other organizational events.
• Ability to travel with the team as required by the game schedule, including overnight stays.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by game schedules and training sessions.
• Non-game day schedule is during the work week, and then hours and days can be flexible.
• Ability to be present and active during game days, including standing and moving around the stadium for long periods.
• Willingness to be hands-on and approachable in a dynamic, fast-paced event environment.

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods during practice, drills, and games.
• Must be able to lift and carry equipment such as bats, balls, and training tools (up to 25-30 pounds).
• Must demonstrate physical agility and flexibility when demonstrating hitting techniques or engaging in on-field drills.
• Frequent bending and stooping required for tasks such as retrieving balls, setting up drills, or assisting players with their form.
• Must have excellent hand-eye coordination to demonstrate swing mechanics and provide timely feedback during drills.
• Ability to maintain focus and coaching activity over the course of long practice sessions and games, which may last several hours.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• Annual Salary Range: $75,000 - $100,000
