C. R. Metal Products, Inc. is seeking a Machine and Industrial Maintenance Technician. The Machine and Industrial Maintenance Technician will assist the Maintenance Manager in maintaining the overall condition of the physical plant and the machines operating on the premises.
SKILLS
The Machine and Industrial Maintenance Technician should have working knowledge and practical experience in the following areas;
- Set up, troubleshooting and repair of Milling Machines, Punch Presses, CNC Equipment and applications, Welding Robots, Turret Presses, Press Brakes and Lasers.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, ladder logic, data trending and equipment manuals.
- Skilled in electrical (12V to 480V systems) and should be able to safely work with electrical currents, single and three phase electrical supply, control systems and circuit breakers.
- Knowledge of PLC systems and other similar control systems, graphic user interfaces, motor starts, gear boxes, conveyor systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, etc.
- Good written and verbal communication skills to be able to communicate with vendors.
ATTRIBUTES
The Machine and Industrial Maintenance Technician should be self-motivated and possess the knowledge to complete required tasks with minimal supervision.
Education: College or Technical Degree/Certification preferred but not required
Requirements:
- Practical classroom experience in electrical and machine repair or equivalent experience
- Valid Driver's License
- 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Hours: Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm with some overtime and weekend work as needed.
Salary Rate: Based on experience
