Brookline Hearing Services is a busy multi-provider audiology clinic seeking a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator. As the face of the office, we are looking for a dependable hard worker that can multi-task and greet patients with a warm and positive attitude. Answering the phone and effectively helping patients or routing them to the appropriate person is another important aspect of the job. We work in a team environment and take pride in our high quality of patient care.
Job Duties Include
Hours are 9:00-5:00 Monday-Friday.
Job Duties Include
- Greet and assist patients and visitors in person and by phone
- Answer and direct calls using a multi-line phone system
- Call current and former patients to schedule follow-up hearing tests and consultations
- Register new patients and update patient information
- Schedule and confirm appointments in person and over the phone
- Collect patient payments and enter them into the management system
- Process patient orders, verify pickups, and ensure accurate entry in practice management software
- Coordinate orders and schedule patients with the audiologist
- Manage inventory and order supplies
- Perform general office duties such as filing, faxing, and handling referrals
- Minimum of High school diploma.
- 2 years front office experience, in a retail medical setting (dermatology/optical/plastic surgery/cosmetic dentistry setting).
- Must be computer literate in Microsoft Office programs i.e. Word and Excel.
- Must be able to work well independently.
- Great organizational/time management skills, detail oriented and ability to multi-task.
Hours are 9:00-5:00 Monday-Friday.
