We are seeking to hire an Audiology Assistant/Technician who is interested in pursuing a career in the hearing healthcare field. This is an exciting opportunity for growth! Training will be provided in order for you to broaden your career. The position would primarily be working in the Wallingford and Cheshire, CT locations. Possible travel to Ansonia, CT location as needed. The position is 32 hours a week.
What the position includes:
- Assist in the front office as needed
- Works directly with providers on patient care and follow up/training.
- Trouble shooting hearing aids, cleaning, minor repairs, checking in and out.
- Sends follow up physician correspondence on behalf of providers.
- Tracking inventory, ordering hearing aids and supplies.
- Make follow-up calls to patients.
- Manage hearing aid orders, device repairs and manufacturer returns.
- Assisting patients with hearing aid issues and set up as needed
What you will need:
- Demonstrated experience building strong and positive relationships with patients or customers
- An ability to communicate verbally & in writing with utmost clarity
- Proficiency with MS-Office & other medical practice software
- High School Diploma, an Associate’s degree is a plus.
- Industry experience a plus!
- Self-motivated to pursue a career and treat patients with hearing loss.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
