Role Description
We’re looking for an AI Research Engineer to help design and build the core intelligence behind the CPZ® AI product suite. This is a hands-on role that blends research and engineering — ideal for someone who enjoys pushing technical boundaries while shipping real product.
You will work on:
- Developing and training next-generation AI models for quantitative reasoning
- Building agent-based, macroeconomic, and probabilistic simulation engines
- Designing model architectures for financial forecasting, scenario testing, and strategy generation
- Implementing NLP systems that can reason over market structure, reports, and financial data
- Productionizing research into scalable modules for CPZ AI Quant Studio
- Collaborating with design engineering to shape user experience and product direction
This is a role for someone who wants to invent, prototype, and ship — not just publish papers.
Qualifications
- Strong background in Machine Learning, AI systems, or Quantitative Modeling
- Experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, JAX, TensorFlow)
- Knowledge of NLP, LLMs, or multimodal models is a plus
- Experience with simulation, agent-based modeling, Bayesian methods, or macro modeling is highly valued
- Proficiency in Python; familiarity with R, Julia, Rust, or C is a bonus
- Comfort working across research and engineering
- Advanced degree (Master’s/PhD) in CS, Engineering, Applied Math, Stats, or related fields preferred
- Ability to work in a fast, experimental environment and ship quickly
