Maintenance Technician

CPVA First Call is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team in Richmond, VA. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with experience in property maintenance who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and maintaining safe, well-functioning communities.

$21 - $30 hourly

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs across residential or commercial properties
• Troubleshoot and repair systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances
• Complete work orders in a timely and efficient manner
• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal property performance
• Prepare units for new occupancy, including repairs and general upkeep
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed

• Prior experience in property maintenance or a related trade
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or general carpentry preferred
• Ability to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are preferred
