Job Brief
We are seeking a skilled CDL Truck Driver to join our team.
The CDL Truck Driver will be responsible for planning and executing transportation of goods to our clients in a safe and timely manner.
The successful candidate must have a valid TWIC card, Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a TANK endorsement and a clean driving record. Driver must pass all FMCSA D & A regulations and have a clean FMCSA Clearinghouse account & FMCSA medical card.
Driver requirement - minimum age 23 with 2 years’ experience operating similar type of vehicle.
The role of a CDL Truck Driver is crucial to our supply chain, ensuring the delivery of products to clients safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain trucks/trailers to meet company standards and compliance with state and federal regulations
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
- Collect and verify delivery instructions & paperwork
- Report defects, accidents or violations
- Perform pre and post trip inspections of the truck and trailer
- Ensure all freight is secured to prevent damage
