Manufacturer in the Greater Milwaukee area is seeking a Commodity Manager with experience in supply chain, strategic sourcing, or supplier management.
This role will own global commodity strategy for key electrical and electro-mechanical categories and plays a major part in supplier partnerships, technology introduction, and early involvement in NPD initiatives. You’ll have real influence on strategy, innovation, cost-out programs, and long-term supplier agreements.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven success negotiating complex contracts managing supplier agreements
- Experience sourcing motors, PCBAs, wire/cable assemblies, controls, or similar electrical components
- A track record of year-over-year cost savings and supplier-driven innovation
- Strength in building long-term, collaborative supplier partnerships — especially across NPD
- Remote role with travel to offices near Milwaukee Mexico for supplier visits
