CPS Wood Products is looking for a 2nd Shift Facilities Maintenance technician/ Janitorial dutes to join our team!
Job description/Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and repairing areas and assets of a facility, such as rooms, hallways, parking lots, landscape, sidewalks, security alarm systems, HVAC units, plumbing system, drywall repair, plastering, machinery, carpentry and electrical and lighting systems.
- Able to intstall and remove fixtures with little to no help
- Inspecting the building, grounds, and equipment for safety and functionality.
-Assist the installation and setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems, and conduct repairs of necessary.
-Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning windows, and vacuuming in assigned areas.
-Maintain floors through buffing, waxing, and polishing to ensure they are clean and presentable.
-Conduct custodial duties in both industrial and commercial environments, adhering to safety protocols.
-Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, ensuring all areas are well-kept.
-Handle waste disposal and recycling according to company guidelines.
-Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
-Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently.
