Pharmacy Technician

As a part time, nonexempt, CPS Solutions, LLC Pharmacy Technician, under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will assist in various pharmacy activities related to preparing, dispensing, and distributing medications. Other duties include maintaining patient records and setting up packaging, and labeling of medication doses and billing. You will perform job duties under minimal supervision within pharmacy standards, written procedures and guidelines, and state regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for the accurate completion of daily activities and the follow-through of tasks to ensure completion.
Pay Rate: $20-$22 hr
Schedule: This position is scheduled to work 20 hours per week.
About the Facility: Lake Behavioral Hospital provides a variety of behavioral health services including inpatient and partial hospitalization for adolescents ages 13-17, inpatient and intense outpatient programs for adults ages 18 and up, as well as inpatient services to older adults ages 55 and up. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Recent work experience in a hospital or retail setting
- IL Pharmacy Technician license/Registration/Certification in good standing
- Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office suite
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Hospital Requirements: (may be required)
- (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
- (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
- Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
- Hep B3 Series (or declination)
- (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
- COVID Vaccine-Full
